Successfully purchased a Ticket But Got an Email Saying My Order Wasn't Processed
I successfully purchased a ticket (got email confirmation, pending charge on my card). I then got an email this evening saying that ticket orders were not completed and that I would have to reorder. Which is it? The site says that tickets purchased successfully on Saturday are good to go. Very confusing. Anyone else out there experience this problem?

The friend in our group who was purchasing our RV/companion pass got the same email today even though she got a confirmation email and a pending charge on her card. I can understand the system crashing. This is a little bothersome though since the press release assured us of one thing and another is happening.

Agreed. I don't mind having to repurchase (well I mind a little, but can deal with it), but I do mind not even knowing for sure if I need to repurchase.
Tech stuff happens and working in PR, I know that these sort of things are a nightmare to deal with, but a consistent message would be very helpful. -

I'm in the same situation. I don't know if I need to repurchase them.

As an update, she called Music Today and was told her order was fine. They said that a lot of people got that email who shouldn't have. They asked her to call back during regular business hours just to make 100% sure.

What's the number to music today? I've looked everywhere?

I received an email yesterday saying that I needed to try to buy tickets again because it timed out on me. When I was trying to buy tickets it timed out several times before I got through. I just wanted to make sure that my tickets that were charged to my card.. that i have a receipt email for are real... and that I received that message due to previous failed attempts to purchase tickets.

I just received an email from bonnaroo saying my order didn't go through but I received a confirmation #, an email confirmation receipt and my credit card was charged. Could this be from an earlier attempt to buy tickets because I was online trying to buy tickets for 2 hours! Please advise.

I got an email saying my order had been confirmed, my bank account has been charged and then i get an email saying my order was caught short and i have been given the opportunity to purchase my tickets again. I would like to know why I need to repurchase if my account has already been charged?

I purchased a ticket and received an email receipt on Saturday. Today I received an email saying that my order was caught short in the processing cycle. What does this mean? Do I have a ticket, or do I need to repurchase one?

You know, I might be whining, but this seems really unfair. For all of us who tried for 3 hours online and some people actually get to purchase tickets now? Bonnie Bonnaroo stated in a previous thread that she believes there will be a sell out. I, by some kind of fluke, was able to get through with just the onsite RV rental, even after the notice went up on the website that ticket sales were being suspended. I just thought I would give it a try by clicking on the onsite RV rental link and that purchase went through without a hitch. If there is any glitch, on Bonnaroo website, or on my computer, on Saturday, and they sell out, where will I be with no tickets? We are a family of 7.

As Andrea says below, don't stress too much on tickets. Bonnaroo sold out on May 14th last year which was only the 2nd sell out in the 10 years of the festival. I would wager that it will sell out this year, but I don't think it's going to sell out on Saturday. If you get on Saturday, you should be fine.
As far as glitches go, they got enough bad PR from glitch #1. They're going to be 1,000% sure everything is fine before they put tickets on sale because a repeat of Saturday would be really emabarassing. -

For those of you that were charged/got confirmations, it seems like those are legit and they are set, but I would call with your confirmation number just to be sure. I did yesterday and they let me know I was good to go.
Candles, you probably have some right to whine. This was/is a stressful process. I think you should be okay if you plan to purchase your tickets on Saturday. Don't quote me on this, but last year I bought my ticket in May. It did sell out, but not on the first day of regular sales. That said, Burning Man did sell all its available tickets for its initial lottery/sale in one day so I guess you can never be certain.
Good luck. I hope it works out. -
